About Pagan Network

Pagan Network is a networking organisation set up to promote the acceptance and tolerance of Paganism as a faith system within the UK, and to provide a safe and informative social network both on and offline for Pagans in the UK.

As part of our social networking aim, we run social moots on a regular basis across the country, as well as occasional national events including sabbat parties, conventions and open rituals. All our events are open to pagans of all ages (except those held in licensed premises), experience levels and paths, and we do our best to ensure newcomers feel welcome and comfortable.

In promoting acceptance and tolerance of Paganism, we issue regular press statements on stories and articles relating to Wicca and Paganism in the UK press, we work with many media outlets to ensure their articles are accurate as far as possible, and challenge negative stereotypes. We also run a magazine called The Witchtower. Pagan Network is a member of PEBBLE (The Public Bodies Liaison Committee for British Paganism).

Pagan Network originally started in 2000 under the name of WiccaUK but in early 2005 changed its name to Pagan Network. Pagan Network is run and managed by a committee (all our staff and committee work on a voluntary basis). The committee operates within the guidelines set in our Constitution which is reviewed annually at our AGM. All Full Members who pay an annual subscription fee have the right to attend the AGM, hear the committee's reports and raise issues where they feel additional answers are required.
